From this website, you can visit other websites via hyperlinks.  While our aim is to provide only quality links to useful and ethical websites, we have no control over the content and nature of these sites nor do we imply a recommendation for all the content found on these sites.  Site owners and content may change without notice and may occur before we have the opportunity to remove a link which may have gone ‘bad’.

In order to reply to customers’ inquiries and process their rental bookings, we collect standard information for our business records (such as customer’s name, billing address, email address, and phone number).  This information may be shared with our booking partner Outdoorsy and our booking platform Wheelbase in order to complete transactions and keep all records accurate.

Any financial information provided by the customer (such as credit card number) is collected and securely stored by our payment processing partner, Stripe (please see their Privacy Policy for more details).

We also collect certain cookies to improve our visitors’ user experience and guide our marketing strategies.  For more information, please see our Cookie Policy.

Significant technical and organizational security measures have been implemented on this website to protect and secure any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the internet can be deemed 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee protection of data against hackers or other unauthorized third parties. We will do our best to protect your personal data but transmission of said data to our site is done at your own risk; you should only access our site in a secure environment.

All of our customers’ data is stored securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and booking platform (Wheelbase); any specific questions about data security and storage need to be directed to the respective party.  Moreover, 406 Camper Rentals, LLC is not responsible for any potential security breach of a third-party’s website or storage facilities but we will do our best to notify our customers if such a breach ever occurs.

Because this data is part of our business records and may be needed for future audits and other purposes, it will continue to be stored until customer cancels their account or contacts us directly and requests a purge of all personal information.
